Woodpecker Forest Bio-Pellets are carbon neutral, clean and compact with high energy density. It is well suited for variation in heat demand, and can work on auto ignition (pellet burning and boiler appliances). They are more economical (per unit energy) compared to heating oil, diesel and LPG. After combustion of Bio-Pellets, very small quantity of ash is generated, which can be used as a fertiliser for plants.
Our 36,000 tons/year production plant is SCDA based, data driven and fully automated plant. Woodpecker Forest's technical collaboration with Swiss Combi of Switzerland and Münch Edelstahl of Germany, ensure that stringent quality standards apply to every pellet in every bag exceeds industry standard.
The feed-stock for the pellets we produce is sourced from sustainably-managed agro forestry, agricultural by-products, energy wood, paper mill and sawmill waste. Woodpecker Forest's Bio-Pellets are on par or exceed the European quality standards, with guaranteed energy content of 4.9 MJ, ash content less than 1% and moisture of around 8%.
We ensure pellet quality through out the entire supply chain, including production, storage and transportation.
